Ever since Edison Chen and his CLOT label signed on as a constant collaborator at adidas, the label has pushed the limits of the Three Stripes’ classic silhouettes. With a focus on the Superstar in particular, Chen and team have added new soles, premium materials, and reimagined silhouettes like the Superstar Dress Shoe that debuted late last year. After another year of jagged-soled, mesh-paneled, and patchwork Superstars, the brands are back to revisit the dressy hybrid for the new year.
The CLOT x adidas Superastar Dress Shoe Year of the Horse takes a trendy bovine approach to the hard-bottomed Superstar. Like all Superstars, the shell toe covers the front of the shoe, this time in a creamy off-white patent leather. From there, the rest of the upper goes straight to the farm with a brown, white, tan, and black cow print on faux fur. The Three Stripes logos are stitched on in white.
A dressier look is added thanks to a tassel lacing system with thin cord laces, a plush white leather sock liner, and a sloped brown hard bottom sole with a thick heel. We first saw the shoe last holiday season in triple-black patent leather, and this pair will be a perfect addition to your dressy rotation come springtime.
The CLOT x adidas Superstar Dress Shoe Year of the Horse will be released January 31, 2026 through CLOT, adidas, and select retailers in-store and online.
