Atlanta rapper is finally free, having been out of jail for over a year now. Now, back in the studio, Thug is taking over the streetwear industry with his SP5DER clothing brand being bigger than ever. This year marked a new landmark for SP5DER, with the announcement of an exclusive adidas Superstar collab. Following this, Thug and SP5DER will be back with the Three Stripes for a chromed-out F50 Formotion.
The SP5DER x adidas F50 Formotion is a retro runner covered in metallic silver with pink accents and plenty of collab branding. The entire upper is done in silver, with muted metallic on the mesh and synthetic panels that make up the toe and side panels, and shinier silver on the toe, lace panel, and heel support. The colorway adds pink broken linework across the bottom of the shoe and on the tongue stay. SP5DER branding is added on the tongue and the vamp, paired with a large silver spider hangtag.
We first saw the SP5DER x adidas partnership earlier this year with two colorways of Superstars, one in gold and black, and the other in shiny red patent leather. The Superstar collabs came alongside shell toes from a handful of other streetwear heavyweights, but this time around, the F50 sees SP5DER stand alone, at least for now.
