The adidas Superstar revival is in full swing, and who better to show off a new colorway of one of the year’s most surprising collabs than a soccer superstar. Amidst a surprise release from the Spanish national team over a miscommunication about a medical procedure, Spanish soccer star Lamine Yamal popped out in an all-new red pair of Sp5der x adidas Superstars.
The German sportswear giant is bringing back the Superstar focus with a series of streetwear collabs from brands like Hellstar, Menace, and Dios, along with Young Thug’s incredibly popular Sp5der. We’ve already seen photos of a gold Sp5der x adidas Superstar, and now, Yamal shows off a patent leather red pair.

Sp5der’s second adidas Superstar colorway is coated in candy apple red with the Three Stripes moved up on the side panels (similar to the adidas Super Modified) to just behind the toecap, leaving more room to focus on the spider web inlays across the shoe. Just like the first colorway, the red Sp5der Superstars feature a large spider pendant hanging down from the top lace loop.
We haven’t seen any official photos of the red Superstars, but we have been expecting two pairs of Sp5der collab shell toes to drop Spring 2026. This is likely the follow-up to the gold pair, but there’s also a possibility it is a friends and family exclusive.
