2025 marks the 25th birthday of UK-based retailer size? To celebrate, they’ve been launching many exclusive projects with adidas. So far, the famed City Series has tackled Dublin, Shanghai, Liverpool, and Sapporo. Now, fifteen years after its original release, adidas and the UK retailer are bringing Birmingham back into the spotlight with a new edition of the adidas Birmingham.
Unlike its 2010 predecessor, which paid homage to Birmingham’s chocolate-making legacy with plush purple suede and creamy accents, the 2025 model is a tribute to the West Midlands city’s rebellious soul, rich history, and heavy metal roots. All-black leather dominates the upper, channeling the raw, industrial power that once defined the city during the height of the Industrial Revolution. Think factory floors, forged steel, and sweat-soaked underground venues.
