There is no denying the impact Kobe Bryant has on the NBA, but when you get a look at the stats behind the sneakers worn on-court this season, the Black Mamba’s near-ubiquitous influence is still a little bit surprising.
After giving us a few breakdowns of the sneaker tendencies of NBA players following the end of the 2025-’26 regular season, Kix Stats is back with yet another Top 10 list, this time giving us the most frequently worn specific colorways during NBA games. And while we expected the Nike Kobe line to be the most frequent collection on the list, we weren’t expecting it to take nine of the top 10 spots.

10. Nike Kobe 6 Protro Dodgers - 4,864 Minutes

The Los Angeles Dodgers can’t stop winning, even on the basketball court. The Dodgers blue colorway of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro kicks off the list with nearly 5,000 minutes of playing time, but that’s far from the last Kobe 6 we’ll discuss today.
9. FC Barcelona x Nike Kobe 4 Protro - 5,097 Minutes

The first of two Kobe 4 Protros to make the list, the FC Barcelona colorway celebrates Kobe’s love for soccer in a clean mix of cream with black branding and a blue gradient midsole. Eclipsing the 5,000 minutes of play mark by just over a game, the Barci collab colorway just snuck onto the list.
8. Nike Kobe 6 Protro Italian Camo - 5,171 Minutes

Another Nike Kobe 6 Protro? Yeah, another one. NBA players still can’t get enough Kobes, and the Italian Camo colorway was no exception, adding tan camo and a red Swoosh for a more subtle look than most of the pairs that made the list.
7. Nike Kobe 6 Protro Reverse Grinch - 5,764 Minutes

Keeping up the colorful theme of this season’s favorite shoes, the Nike Kobe 6 Protro Reverse Grinch slots in at the seventh spot, with the Christmas classic hitting the court for nearly 5,800 minutes this season.
6. Nike Kobe 4 Protro CHBL - 6,020 Minutes

The Nike Kobe 4 Protro CHBL is the second and final Kobe 4 Protro on the list, bringing the yellow Chinese-exclusive colorway stateside for some run, most notably on the feet of Steph Curry during his sneaker free agency run.
5. Nike LeBron 20 Pink Diamond - 6,061 Minutes

A shoe that isn’t a Kobe? Can we get a recount? As LeBron continues to roll out new colorways of the Nike LeBron 23, it was the Pink Diamond colorway of the Nike LeBron 20 that made its way past the scorer’s table the most this season.
4. Nike Kobe 5 Protro Caitlin Clark Fever PE - 7,780 Minutes

Alright, back to our regularly scheduled programming. You didn’t think the list would forget about Caitlin Clark’s PEs, did you? The most popular player in the W was once again putting in minutes on the NBA court, even while she sat out most of last season with an injury, thanks to her Indiana Fever Kobe 5 PE. This season, expect her influence to be even stronger with her own signature sneaker hitting shelves at the end of the year.
3. Nike Kobe 6 Protro All-Star 2.0 - 9,093 Minutes

If a player wasn’t on the Suns and bright orange clashed with their uniform, the Nike Kobe 6 Protro All-Star 2.0 in Sail and Black was an easy pair to throw on and match with any jersey colorway. Of course, without any sneaker colorway restrictions left in the league, this clean pair’s appeal is still pretty simple to see.
2. Kobe 6 Nike Kobe 6 Protro WNBA - 11,714 Minutes

Another Kobe 6 Protro, the orange WNBA colorway was a perfect way for NBA hoopers to rep their compatriots in the W, once again following Kobe’s example. Fittingly, the WNBA pair is one of six Kobe 6 protro colorways to make the list.
1. Nike Kobe 6 Protro Caitlin Clark PE - 12,625 Minutes

By far the most frequently worn shoe of the season, the grey and blue Mamba-scaled Caitlin Clark Kobe 6 Protro in Light Armory Blue dominated the court this year. Next year, hoopers across the globe will finally have Caitlin’s first pro model to wear, too, and only time will tell if that makes the list.
