Sneaker Politics and Reebok are Conjuring a Tribute to the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans: Marie Laveau

For its latest partnership, Sneaker Politics linked up with Reebok for a tribute to Marie Laveau, the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans, and the Wishing Ritual tradition carried out at her gravestone for over half a century. As the story goes, those seeking wish fulfillment are to visit Saint Louis Cemetery No. 1, approach Laveau’s tomb, draw three Xs on the white stone, knock on the tomb, spin around three times, and leave an offering.

The Sneaker Politics x Reebok Workout Plus Wishing Ritual turns Laveau’s tomb into a sneaker, starting with a white base like the mausoleum and adding colorful Xs in groups of three across the entire upper. A Politics hit is added to the side panel for a bit of co-branding.

The Sneaker Politics x Reebok Workout Plus Wishing Ritual has only been seen in a quick preview video, but with a release on the schedule for April 18, 2026, expect to see more images of the collab soon.
