Popularized in the sneaker scene by Travis Scott and Ye, earth tones have dominated many of our favorite silhouettes in the last few years. While some, like the Nike Dunk High Desert Camo (W), stick to strictly the dusty earth tones, the latest Nike Dunk Low to appear comes in a contrasting “Brown Royal” colorway.
Coming in a mix of tumbled leather and short-haired suede, the sneaker is covered in various brown shades. On the mudguard, eyestays, and heel collar, a dark brown tumbled leather accents the slightly lighter shade of brown on the suede underlays. Tonal brown laces work up the mesh tongue to a brown and royal blue Nike branded tongue tag. Along the midfoot, another hit of royal blue comes courtesy of the canvas-covered Nike Swoosh, running back to the heel tab. The sockliner located nearby does stay in the earth tone realm, though instead of brown comes in khaki. Underfoot, the white Dunk midsole is paired with a brown rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Premium Mars Stone is slated to release on December 20th, 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
