New Balance Taps Marvin Harrison Jr. for Foot Locker Exclusive Desert Heat Pack

Foot Locker may have recently been acquired by Dick’s Sporting Goods, but the global retailer is still a major player in the industry, especially when it comes to exclusives. Following a series of exclusive capsules with Saucony, adidas, and New Balance, the latter is back to work with FTL on the Desert Heat Pack.
The duo brought out Arizona Cardinals wide receiver and New Balance athlete Marvin Harrison Jr. to model the new collection, which has been dubbed the Desert Heat pack. Complete with a sun-soaked lifestyle shoot with plenty of cacti, the capsule features two pairs of 1906Rs and a 1000 all taking on bright, vibrant colorways to round out the dog days of summer.

The 1906R colorways are split into a unisex pair in multicolored black, pink, and blue, and a women’s exclusive pair in black and pink. The multicolor pair gets the full Crayola treatment akin to the Neon Nights colorway from 2022.Black suede and leather on the main panels serve as a backdrop for bright blue mesh, with stripes of red outline across the side panels, green accents on the toebox, and yellow splashes on the outsole, tongue, and bordering the white N logo.
The black and pink pair takes on a more traditional two-tone makeup, with pinkish red paneling surrounding black mesh and white accents on the side logo and midsole. The Desert Pack 1000 colorway is all watermelon, stacking pink, green, and black for the upper with a black sole interrupted by green ABZORB cushions in the forefoot and heel.

The Foot Locker-exclusive New Balance Desert Heat Pack will release on August 28, 2025, through Foot Locker online and in-store. Available in various sizes, the retail price for the 1906R pairs is set at $155 for adult sizing. The 1000 will be released in unisex sizing for $150.
