The custom sneaker game is a crowded space these days, but there are still a few exacto knife engineers standing out from the pack. One of the first name-brand figures in the custom industry, Mache is still whipping up insane one-of-a-kind kicks for pro athletes and stars, and with football season in full swing, he’s got his hands full every week.
Under the Monday night lights at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas this week, Raiders linebacker Devin White showed off Mache’s latest work, a pair of custom J. Balvin x Air Jordan 3 Rio cleats. The black 3s with elephant print panels fit perfectly with the Raiders' black and silver home uniforms, with the sunset splashed hits of gradient color popping against the turf.
The Jumpman has been putting out football cleats with retro Jordan tooling for years now, dropping new packs for college teams annually, and the rare player edition colorway for select Jordan athletes like Jalen Hurts.
The Raiders weren’t able to keep up with the Chargers on Monday night, but that didn’t stop White from showing off the Balvins.
