Jalen Hurts Beat Dallas in “Love Hurts” Jordan 11 PE Cleats
The NFL season finally started last night, and Jalen Hurts reminded us all why he’s a Super Bowl champion. Ok, so there was only one scoring play in the entire second half, and it was a field goal, but still, Hurts completed 19 of 23 passes, rushed for more yards than Saquon Barkley, and got himself into the end zone twice (no tush push needed), to secure a week one win for The Birds. He did it all in a new pair of Jordan 11 PE cleats with a message for Jerry Jones and the Dallas defense — Love Hurts.
Covered in black patent leather across the entire upper with white spikes underneath and a gold Jumpman logo on the ankle, the real detail is found on the tongue. Between the laces in bright red, Hurts’ slogan “Love Hurts” is written with a Jumpman logo in the middle.
Jordan used the “Love Hurts” branding to celebrate the Super Bowl win in February, plastering the slogan across parades, billboards, and TV screens, making Hurts the face of Jordan’s football program.
Considering the heavy marketing push surrounding Hurts since the championship win, the Eagles QB figured it would only be right to invite Michael Jordan himself to watch him in action. “Yeah, you have a special guest, a special friend in attendance, there’s only one thing you can do and that’s win,” Hurts said about having Jordan in the crowd for week 1.
No matter how much you love Jalen Hurts, we’re pretty certain these cleats will never hit the retail market, so it’s probably not worth getting your hopes up. After all, love hurts.
