LOOK GREAT PLAY GREAT: Week 7

We’re nearing the halfway point of the NFL season, and even with some lackluster performances on the field, players keep showing up in high-heat sneakers. Of course, we can’t discuss anything week 7 of the 2025 NFL season without talking about the CRAZY ending to the Broncos and Giants matchup. The Giants honed in on Jaxson Dart’s Anakin Skywalker alter ego, falling to the dark side by allowing Denver to come back and win the game by one point. Sounds like Any Given Sunday right? Not really. Over 1,602 games have ended with a team losing by at least 18 points in the last six minutes, but the Broncos were able to end this streak by scoring 33 points in the fourth quarter.

Enough hating on the Giants (I can’t help it, I’m a Commanders fan), let's dive into the 11 best tunnel fits of week 7 with Sole Retriever’s Look Great, Play Great.

Arnold Ebiketie

Falcons linebacker Arnold Ebiketie walked the tunnel ahead of ATL’s eventual loss to the 49ers in one of the best Nike SB Dunk Low releases of the year. That is of course the Black History Month Rodeo Nike SB Dunk Lows, which honors pioneering cowboy and rodeo performer Bill Pickett.

Cooper DeJean

Back in week 5, the Philadelphia Eagles shockingly lost to the New York Giants. The bye week in week 6 must have been a help as the team was able to squeak out a W against the Minnesota Vikings in a game that ended up being much closer than expected. Nike athlete and cornerback Cooper DeJean was spotted ahead of the game in a pair of the Nike Total 90 III. Great to see the football crossover here (pun fully intended), especially with the FIFA World Cup heading to the Americas in 2026.

DeShon Elliot

It’s a shame that Nike doesn’t fully participate in the 4/20 celebrations like they used to. One of the last weed-themed sneakers to hit shelves was the Air Max 1 Treeline from 2022, which was spotted on the feet of Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliot.

Devonta Smith

Another Eagles player that made the list this week (and not the last by the way), Devonta Smith had a monster outing against the Vikings. The wide receiver caught 9 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown, his longest reception being a 79-yard TD. Before dominating the gridiron, Smith was pictured wearing J. Balvin’s Air Jordan 3 Retro Rio.

Dontae Manning

Once a Duck, always a Duck. That’s what alumni of the University of Oregon say, and Chicago Bears rookie cornerback Dontae Manning still bleeds green. The former Duck was spotted in a pair of the Ducks of a Feather x Nike Dunk Low What The Home, which contains nods to various old uniforms of the Ducks football program.

Jalen Hurts

The final Eagles player on this week’s list and a recurring entry on LOOK GREAT, PLAY GREAT, Jalen Hurts showed out on the gridiron just as much as he did off it. Going 19 for 23 for 326 yards, three touchdowns, and a perfect passer rating of 158.3, marking the 82nd time in NFL history a QB achieved a perfect rating in the regular season. Maybe his arrival in the upcoming Air Jordan 11 Retro Mojave had something to do with it. The sneaker is expected to drop at ComplexCon this weekend ahead of its larger Vegas-exclusive drop in November.

Jalen Ramsey

With the NBA tipping off last night, it’s great to see the reigning MVP get cross-sport love. Not only have players begun to wear Converse Shai 001 on the field, albeit in custom cleat form, but multiple NFL stars have rocked SGA’s debut sneaker this season in the tunnel. The latest is Jalen Ramsey, cornerback for the Steelers, who wore the Butter colorway.

Justin Fields

Going 0-7 to start the NFL season, the New York Jets may have to put Justin Fields on the bench. His last two weeks combined he’s only thrown for 91 yards and is completing about half of his passes, not sustainable going forward. While he’s got to focus on his on-field performance, he was tapped by adidas to rock the upcoming Avirex x adidas collection, including the leather jacket and the collaborative Superstar.

Maliek Collins

Maliek Collins of the Cleveland Browns is one of the lucky few who copped what may end up near the top of many sneaker of the year lists. No, not the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Retro Brick by Brick. It is another collab Jordan though, Infinite Archives’ Air Jordan 17 Low.

TJ Watt

A third member of the Pittsburgh Steelers has entered this week's list, and he’s another recurring guest. TJ Watt, brother of the legendary JJ Watt, rocked a pair of Cool Grey Air Jordan 11s, probably the cleanest pair of AJ 11s to have ever been released.

Tyler Davis

The Los Angeles Rams played the final London-based international game of the 2025 season when they faced the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tyler Davis made sure to show out for the event. The Rams’ defensive lineman rocked a pair of the Air Jordan 4 Retro Thunder before holding the Jaguars to just 7 points.
