Michael Jordan’s 11th signature sneaker, the Air Jordan 11, has been revered for decades as one of, if not the best, Air Jordan design. With such high praise from sneakerheads, MJ himself, and the company, the model is often reserved for only one or two releases a year in the holiday season (not counting the low-tops that drop in the early parts of the year). This release practice will change in 2025 as this marks the 40th Anniversary of the Air Jordan line and the 30th of the AJ 11, which has caused Jordan Brand to prep nine different colorways. Included in this is an all-new Canyon Purple rendition.
Joining the already revealed Jordan 11 lineup, which includes the Gamma Blue, Pearl, 285, and H-Town pairs, this Mojave rendition will be exclusive to the Las Vegas area. The pair is directly inspired by the sunsets seen on the red rocks, with the upper coated in a purple aged suede. Reflective elements on the Jumpman logo on the collar call to the bright lights of the city, specifically the Strip. Another detail nodding to Vegas is found on the carbon fiber on the outsole, which is rendered in gold.
The Air Jordan 11 Retro Canyon Purple will release November 22, 2025 through select retailers in the Las Vegas area. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $255.
