LOOK GREAT, PLAY GREAT: NFL Week 12’s Best Tunnel Fits

The NFL, and all of America, is getting ready for Thanksgiving celebrations this week. For most people, that means gathering around a family member's house, eating overcooked turkey, dealing with family drama, and having to listen to your uncle tell stories you really don’t want to be listening to. Some professional football players will be punching in for their jobs on the 28th, as the Thanksgiving Day slate features three different matchups to watch.

While we wait for turkey day to come and some great football over the next few days, it’s time to look back at week 12’s best tunnel fits on Sole Retriever’s LOOK GREAT, PLAY GREAT: NFL edition.

Alex Highsmith

There are a ton of Steelers-friendly sneakers to choose from, and Alex Highsmith probably picked one of the best. Ahead of Pittsburgh’s loss to the Chicago Bears, Highsmith laced up a pair of Air Jordan 4 Lightnings.

Cam Jordan

Being a Jordan Brand athlete certainly has its perks. Not only are you given sneakers early, and don’t have to pay for any shoes from the brand, but you’ll also get player-exclusives. Cam Jordan is enjoying the high life of being Team Jordan, showing off the Air Jordan 3 Retro Playground. The colorway was first spotted on the feet of Trae Young, with the pair being exclusive to Jordan Brand friends and family.

Dayton Wade

The Baltimore Ravens have a ton to be excited about. Well… maybe not Lamar’s nagging injuries, but the team turned it around after an abysmal start. Since going 1-5 to start the season, they have won six games in a row. Rookie Dayton Wade has been sidelined all season with a rib injury and hasn’t had the chance to take the field, but he showed up to the Ravens' latest game in Verdy’s Nike SB Dunk Low Visty.

Emanuel Wilson

Green Bay Packers running back Emanuel Wilson channeled his inner Michael Jordan ahead of the team’s game against the Vikings. He rushed for two TDs, carried the ball 28 times, and totaled 125 yards to help the Cheeseheads celebrate a dub over Minnesota. Not only did he perform well on the field, but he also laced up MJ’s Air Jordan 12 Retro Flu Game, though he most definitely was not sick during Sunday’s game.

Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts continues to act as the face of Jordan Brand’s NFL squad. In all honesty, his footwear choices are usually budget-friendly and non-retro models, with his last few appearances on this list featuring the Jordan City Boot and Jordan Trunner O/S. This week, Hurts laced up the Jordan 4 RM, a low-top takedown version of the Air Jordan 4.

Jalyx Hunt

Another member of the Eagles to make this week’s LOOK GREAT, PLAY GREAT, Jalyx Hunt went nostalgic for his sneakers and paid homage to a Philly legend. He laced up a pair of Allen Iverson’s signature sneakers from Reebok. More specifically, Hunt picked the Reebok Answer 4 in its OG White Red colorway.

Josh Allen

It’s tough to follow up on a six-touchdown day, just ask Josh Allen. After throwing three tuddies and rushing for three of his own in week 11, the Bills QB went touchdown-less and threw two picks in the team’s loss to the Texans. Ahead of this lackluster performance, Josh was spotted in the WTAPS x New Balance 2010.

Mason Kinsey

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Mason Kinsey also went “dad shoe” mode this week. No, not New Balance, but Yeezy. Kinsey was spotted rocking the 700 V2 in the Cream colorway, which is quite similar to the original Static rendition that kicked off the silhouette.

Micah Parsons

After showing up to the Packers game last week in the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner, Micah Parsons stuck with adidas for week 12. Still choosing the chunky runner vibe, Parsons wore the recently released Grey colorway of Pharrell’s adidas Adistar Jellyfish.

Terrance Ferguson

The city of Los Angeles is still celebrating its World Series victory from earlier in the month. Dodgers fan and Los Angeles Rams tight end Terrance Ferguson entered the stadium wearing the Nike Kobe 6 Protro Dodgers. Perfect timing, as we just leaked that the Nike Kobe 5 Protro will also be undergoing a Dodgers makeover.

Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce, or should we say Taylor Swift’s fiancé, entered the Chiefs game wearing one of the best Air Jordan 12s of all time. That’s of course the Air Jordan 12 Taxi, which recently received a retro release.
