There’s a new contender for Sneaker of the Year. There’s still a month left in 2025, and this new Air Force 1 is making a serious case for a top 10 spot. The LAAMS x Nike Air Force 1 is the culmination of an artist series hosted by the Swoosh at the brand’s LES retail storefront over the past five months. Bringing the project together, the retail and community art space turned a pair of low-top Forces into one of NYC’s most iconic canvases.

The LAAMS x Nike Air Force 1 Please Post Bills takes on the green plywood grain of the city’s infinite scaffolding. Replicating the sheets of wood put up to separate construction sites from the sidewalk, the Please Post Bills colorway flips the construction industry’s classic bold “Post No Bills” request not to wheatpaste posters onto the plywood, with a shoutout to the city’s arts community that loves to tag, flyer for parties, and paste political messages on the endless public canvas.

The LAAMS Air Force 1 upper is all green in the same tone as NYC construction plywood, with a subtle grain graphic lurking underneath. The laces, sock liner, midsole, and Swoosh are all cream-colored, with pebbled leather on the Swoosh and a subtle blueish grey outline above it representing the layers of stacked flyers found on green boards across the city.

The LAAMS x Nike Air Force 1 Please Post Bills will be released through LAAMS Orchard Street retail store in NYC on December 6, 2025 with a wide release scheduled through the SNKRS App on December 13, 2025, though there are reportedly just 2,000 pairs in existence. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is still TBD on these. For all the latest Nike collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
