LeBron James is the toast of the NBA this weekend after finally deciding to ditch LA for Philly, but if he’s throwing a party to celebrate, Kevin Durant has plenty of candy for the piñata. With his 19th signature silhouette hitting retailers this off-season, the Slim Reaper is bringing the shoe to market with a splash, dipping a debut candy pack in shiny monochrome technicolor.
Dipped in Butter
The Nike KD 19 Butter Candy is the latest pair from the collection to arrive with official images from Nike. Featuring a lemony fresh monochrome yellow upper, the pair is dipped in butter from toe to heel, with a splash of green on the insoles for a lemon-lime flex. Apart from the green KD logos inside the shoe, though, the entire pair is wrapped in yellow like a caramel at the bottom of grandma’s purse.

In addition to the Butter Candy colorway, the Nike KD 19 Candy Pack features pink, purple, green, red, blue, and orange colorways with the same metallic monochrome makeup and green guts. We haven’t seen any other retail-ready KD 19 colorways outside of the candy collection yet, but we have seen another bright orange PE pair made for EYBL Peach Jam youth hoopers.
