The Nike KD 19 Gorge Green Adds Another Candy-Coated Colorway

Kevin Durant’s signature sneaker line has to be one of the most well-respected lines of all time. Since the Nike Elite sock era, Kevin Durant has consistently notched hit silhouettes that place him in extremely rare air. Not only are his modern shoes incredibly popular as homages to other models in Nike’s archive, but his older models continue to be held in high regard, with the Nike KD 5 on pace to return soon.

Durant’s 19th silhouette is garnering massive amounts of attention for its Y2K-inspired look that draws from the Foamposite-filled age. Adding to the candy-coated collection is a new colorway that connects to Durant’s history with the Supersonics.

Sour Apple Bitter

The Nike KD 19 Gorge Green continues the sugary-sweet theme Durant has been leaning into with the initial colorways that include bold monochromatic colorways like the shimmering Candy Apple Red, Butter Candy, and Blueberry Blast. The Nike Hyperflight-inspired silhouette is coated in a glossy metallic green hue that stretches across the entirety of its molded upper, including the mini-Swooshes on the lateral toe. The shade spreads to the mesh tongue and sock liner to offer breathability. The KD logo on the tongue and the scythe-shaped seven on the heel add visual depth to the model. The sour apple shade hits the outsole to complete the solid single-color look.
