Earlier this year, Joseph Robinson of Joe Freshgoods went on record to announce a new collab coming next year with a brand that he’s rocked with his whole life, and it wouldn’t be his primary partner, New Balance. Shortly after, JFG posted a teaser of a new loafer collab, and while speculation is that the new collab partner is Timberland, this loafer, which is likely not the collab he was referencing in the interview, is actually with Blackstock & Weber.
Joe Freshgoods x Blackstock & Weber Loafer Candy Apple Details
Staying on the loafer trend that has appeared across the sneakerverse, JFG’s Blackstock & Weber collab brings Italian red patent leather and a laser-etched checkerboard pattern to the silhouette. The checkerboard appears on the toe, with a penny loafer strap cutting across the top portion and the pattern revealing a neutral hue on some of the squares. Inside, the loafer is lined with pink to provide some contrast to the candy apple red hue of the upper. Underfoot sits a Vibram lug sole unit.
