Joe Freshgoods

Joseph Robinson's Joe Freshgoods brand and New Balance have been the perfect pairing, with Joe launching over 20 different collab colorways across the Boston-based footwear icon’s catalog since their first partnership in 2020. While JFG has primarily stuck to NB since then, the brand has ventured outside the New Balance ecosystem occasionally, launching a collab with Vans in 2022 for example. Looks like we have another one of those on the way. On a recent appearance on the Ghetto Runway podcast, Joseph teased a “big collab” with a footwear brand he hasn’t worked with before.

Joe Freshgoods New Collab Teaser

When co-host Alonzo Jackson asked about any new collabs coming soon, Joe instantly cracked a smile and was ready to tease his latest project. “I got a big collab coming out with a brand that everybody loves.” He continued, “I’ve probably worn this shoe more than I’ve worn anything in my life. I’ve been harassing them for 20-plus years. Let everybody else do the math on what that is.”

Unfortunately, we don’t have access to Joseph’s entire sneaker history, so we can’t actually tell you what shoe he’s worn the most in his life, but there are plenty of photos of Robinson rocking pairs of Timberland 6-Inch Boots. That fits right in with the “brand that everybody loves” quote, as even outside of the NYC area, where Timbs are commonplace, they have become a staple in rotations worldwide.

When Does Joe Freshgoods Next Collab Release?

Joseph only mentions that the new collab is coming next year, so we can expect this in 2027. However, it’s possible that JFG has cooked up another New Balance project before the year is up. The last JFG footwear project was on the New Balance 1890, which dropped in three colorways inspired by ‘90s and early 2000s hip-hop music videos.
