The first thing that pops into your head when you hear Joe Freshgoods sneakers is New Balance, and rightfully so. Joseph Robinson has built his Joe Freshgoods empire on the back of hit NB collabs that have spanned over 20 shoes in 5 years, but for the first time since JFG’s Vans Chocolate Valley Resort pack in 2023, we’ll be getting a non-New Balance collab from the Chicago-based brand. Back in August, Robinson mentioned he had a project with a brand he had never worked with before, and his latest Instagram post seems to reveal an upcoming Timberland Loafer collab.
Joe Freshgoods Loafer Teaser
On the second slide of Joe’s IG dump, there’s an editorial shot of a pair of loafers with a lugged Timberland-esque sole unit, which may well be the rumored JFG x Timberland collab we’ve been hearing about. While Timberland does create loafer-style silhouettes, this new version features a welted sole and a penny-loafer look, with a patent-leather strap that runs across a checkered forefoot panel. The rest of the slip-on is covered in orange patent leather, with a blacked-out sole unit below making the orange pop. JFG typically releases shoes in packs, so it’s possible that this is just one of a few colorways created by Robinson and his crew.

As of this writing, there’s no confirmed release date for Joe Freshgoods’ loafer silhouette, but with a teaser finally out for the world to see, expect to learn more in the coming weeks.
