Jide Osifeso Named Head of Basketball at Reebok

Jide Osifeso—founder of the fashion label Hymne and a long-time creative collaborator with Reebok— has just taken on a much larger role at the brand. Ahead of Hymne’s latest capsule with Reebok, the Boston-based footwear brand has announced Osifeso as the next Head of Basketball.
Osifeso’s previous work includes capsules for Reigning Champ, a cultural partnership for Jordan Peele’s Nope with Daniel Kaluuya, and the multiple Hymne x Reebok collaborations that elevated Reebok’s storytelling in recent seasons. With this new role, he will oversee all facets of the basketball category while continuing to work across brand partnerships outside of hoops.
“Jide is a creative visionary with a bold and thoughtful approach,” said Reebok President of Basketball, Shaquille O’Neal. “We are excited about the impact he will have on Reebok from a creative leadership and brand purpose perspective. Jide understands the value of our rich heritage and how he can build on that to take Reebok in powerful new direction.”

With players like Angel Reese, Matas Buzelis, Nate Ament, and Dink Pate already on the roster, Reebok’s basketball division is positioning itself as a hub for emerging stars who break tradition and forge their paths. The label released its first performance basketball model in nearly a decade, the Engine A, and plans to release a signature sneaker for Angel Reese.
Under Osifeso’s creative leadership, the brand is already making moves. Reebok is currently producing a short film exploring the brand’s cultural rebirth in basketball, while designing its 2026 performance footwear line, highlighted by a new signature shoe set to reintroduce the brand into the elite performance conversation. Osifeso will also spearhead the highly anticipated second sneaker from WNBA All-Star Angel Reese, who has yet to release her first sneaker with the brand.
“My aim is to honor the legacy of Reebok basketball’s lineage with a study of the sport and its contribution to culture both on and off the court,” said Osifeso.
