If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. At adidas, last year was marked by the emergence of the insanely hyped Jellyfish and a series of Superstar collabs with some of the brightest young names in the streetwear industry. For LA’s Hellstar, the opportunity has expanded past the two Superstar colorways into a matching football cleat and now, a new colorway on Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE 2.

After rumors that the Hellstar collab would expand to the basketball side of the adidas line, Edwards took to his burner IG over the weekend to confirm it, posting a close-up photo of a desert camo AE 2 colorway with a lime green Hellstar tongue logo on the right shoe and the AE logo on the left.

So far, we haven’t seen any other images of the shoe, but with All-Star Weekend activities kicking off in LA in just a few days, we wouldn’t be surprised if Ant-Man and the Hellstar locals linked up for an activation of some kind. The pair also matches another teased Hellstar adidas collab on a camo-covered Superstar, so it’s not hard to guess the new theme for Hellstar’s latest project with The Three Stripes.

The Hellstar x adidas AE 2 doesn’t have a release date or retail price just yet, but this week will be one of the busiest drop cycles of the year, so keep your eyes peeled for all the latest info. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to be the first to know as soon as we learn more.
