Caitlin Clark’s first Nike signature silhouette is still on the way, but in the meantime, the Indiana Fever star is running out new Nike Kobe PEs with a frequency that’s only matched by Jalen Brunson. As the WNBA season gets going, Clark is back on the court in more new Kobes, bringing out a new Kobe 5 Protro over the weekend based on our favorite hedgehog.

Caitlin Clark Nike Kobe 5 Protro Sonic the Hedgehog Details

The Caitlin Clark Nike Kobe 5 Protro Sonic the Hedgehog PE features a clean mix of blue and white like Sonic’s speedy fur. The blue pops from the toebox and side panels, while the white fills in the toecap and structural panels. More white is added on the Swoosh with a border of gold to match Caitlin’s Fever jersey. The Kobe 5 Protro’s mirrored back panel adds some shine, and a red heel tab is a clear reference to Sonic’s shoes.

Sonic the Sneaker Man

Caitlin has always brought her favorite pop culture references to her line of Kobe PEs, most notably on the Parent Trap colorways, but she isn’t the only Sonic obsessive in the sneaker industry. In addition to Clark’s latest PE, Sonic has inspired repeated packs of Crocs and collections from Puma, Reebok, and Timberland.
