Reebok continues its streak of high-profile collaborations with the release of the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 x Reebok Collection, a celebratory capsule tied to the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog 3 movie set to hit theaters on December 20, 2024. This isn’t Reebok’s first foray into pop culture partnerships, but the collaboration with the Sonic franchise taps into a multigenerational fandom that blends nostalgia with fresh innovation. The collection channels the essence of Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails with footwear styles designed for adults and kids.

The collection's standout is the Sonic Floatzig 1, a performance running shoe dressed in Sonic-inspired blue and white tones. The design features nods to the franchise, such as the iconic checkered print on the woven tongue label, sock liner, heel, and a Sonic-inspired gold ring heel pull tab. Built on a Zig-shaped Floatride Energy foam outsole, this model prioritizes comfort and springy energy return for all-day wear. The Knuckles Club C Revenge reinterprets Reebok's classic court shoe in bold red and white suede, mimicking Knuckles' textured fur. Details like a metal spike stud on the heel tab and Sonic-themed graphics on the sock liner further connect this model to the character's rebellious edge.

For younger fans, the collection includes a variety of playful designs, such as the Tails Classic Leather Step N’ Flash, which lights up, and the glow-in-the-dark Sonic Zig N’ Glow. The Sonic the Hedgehog 3 x Reebok Collection will release on December 6, 2024, through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. In men’s sizing, the retail price is $140 for the Floatzig 1, $100 for the Club C, and between $60 and $65 for the GS and PS shoes.
