Puma’s New Sonic the Hedgehog Pack Includes Shoes for Tails, Shadow, and Sonic

In the pantheon of video game characters, Sonic is up there with Mario, Link, Pac-Man, and Master Chief. He might not make your Mount Rushmore, but he wouldn’t be a crazy pick. After movies, TV shows, and sneaker collabs with Timberland, Crocs, and Reebok featuring the speedy blue spike ball, Sonic is back with a new pack of Pumas.

The Sonic the Hedgehog x Puma collection features three shoes, a Sonic-themed Inhale, and two pairs of Inverse, one based on Tails and the other modeled after Shadow. The Sonic Inhale starts with a textile and synthetic upper in deep navy blue with royal blue accents like the Blue Blur’s hair. The unifying aesthetic of the pack, a Sonic face is stitched to the tongue, the stripe logos are removable and replaceable with two options, and a gold ring sits in the middle of the laces.

Shadow’s Inverse is a mix of black with red accents on the synthetic, textile, and leather upper to represent Sonic’s arch-rival. Like the Sonic shoe, the Shadow pair comes with the hedgehog's face on the tongue and a removable red tongue cover. The best of the pack is the yellow Tails Inverse, covering the shoe in a monotone yellow with hits of shine. The high-flying sidekick also gets a character patch on the tongue and a removable lace cover. All three pairs of shoes come in custom boxes featuring the three characters together.

The Sonic the Hedgehog x Puma collection will be released October 30, 2025 through Puma and select retailers in-store and online. Available in adult and grade school sizing, the retail price is set at $110 (adult) and $95 (GS) for the Sonic Inhale and $100 (adult) and $75 (GS) for the Inverse colorways.
