Timberland Continues Sonic the Hedgehog SEGA Collab with Shadow-Themed 6-Inch Boot

Timberland is going to the dark side with the next boot in its Sonic the Hedgehog-themed SEGA collab. After debuting the video game partnership with an extremely limited 30 pair drop of a Sonic 6-Inch Boot in wheat brown, the brands are back with a rival pair, adding a black boot to the collection to represent Sonic’s antagonist, Shadow.

The Sonic the Hedgehog x Timberland 6-Inch Boot Shadow continues the theme from the first pair of Sonic boots, starting with a traditional Timberland 6-Inch Waterproof Boot, this time in black nubuck with red laces to represent Shadow’s hair color. The collab branding is added with an engraved Shadow character graphic on the lateral heel, also done in black to blend into the boot at first glance. More co-branding is added with a custom Shadow hangtag.

In addition to the boot, the collection will also feature a shadow-themed collab long sleeve shirt and t-shirt, each done in two colorways, one in white and one in black. The graphic tees feature co-branding on the front and a large image of Shadow on the back, and the long sleeve shirts add SEGA and Timberland branding to the sleeves, with a smaller Shadow graphic on the front. Each color is limited to just 50 units.

Just like the first Sonic Timberland drop, the Sonic the Hedgehog x Timberland 6-Inch Boot Shadow will be released exclusively at Timberland’s retail stores in Tokyo, Japan, with only 30 pairs available.
