As a partial owner of the Cangerejeros de Santurce, Bad Bunny brings the team's logos and color scheme to his adidas Forum Buckle Low.

With NBA All-Star Weekend wrapping up, we can finally recover from the monster plays during the game itself and the festivities surrounding the event and digest all the sneaker news that occurred in Salt Lake City. For The Three Stripes, this weekend served as a way to showcase its upcoming lineup of basketball offerings, though not every upcoming release is strictly for performance purposes. Tapping reggaetón superstar Bad Bunny, the two don’t seem to be finished with the Forum Buckle Low silhouette as the Puerto Rican basketball team Cangerejeros de Santurce takes over Benito’s favorite adidas model.
Unlike his previous work on the model, Bad Bunny’s basketball team-inspired take on the Forum Buckle Low features an all-over suede construction with tonal stitching details adding depth to the upper. This material makeup is found along the mudguard, toebox, tongue, eyestays, and tongue in a grey shade while the midfoot features Three Stripes branding in a contrasting orange hue. Navy hits appear on the vamp, lower eyestay, sockliner, and near the heel with our final accenting color coming via a more true orange on the TPU eyelets and tongue lining.
Hidden behind the Velcro strap (one that normally features the phrase “Yo Visto Asi!”) is text denoting the Cangerejeros de Santurce connection while just above this the team's crab-like logo takes over the tongue tag. Rounding out the upper is the years 2000, 2001, 2003, and 2007 boldly displayed in gold along the midfoot which nods to the years Cangerejeros de Santurce won the BSN championship. Finishing the design is the white Forum midsole paired with a navy rubber outsole.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Low Cangrejeros de Santurce is set to release in 2023 through adidas Confirmed and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is currently TBA but expect it to hover around the $160 mark we’ve seen other Bad Bunny Forums go for.
