Last year, Jordan Brand celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Wings program, an initiative that seeks to mentor the youth and give educational opportunities for students across the globe. Over 4,000 students have received scholarships via the Jordan Wings program since its inception in 2015, and not only do these students receive financial aid, but they also receive a support system to help them navigate higher education. Overall, it’s a great program that allows Michael Jordan to give back to youth. We sneakerheads have also benefited from the Wings program, as Jordan Brand has released multiple sneakers tied in with the initiative. Following up on last year’s AJ 5 release, the Wings program is getting an Air Jordan 13 for 2026.

Air Jordan 13 Retro Wings Details

While the Wings Jordan 5 last year went silver/tin as a nod to the program’s 10th anniversary, the 2026 Jordan Wings sneaker coats the Air Jordan 13 in black hues from top to bottom. There are some pops of accenting color in the form of white details, found on the “Wings” branding on the vamp and the sashiko-style stitching across the black denim panel covering the upper. More black denim sits atop the tongue, where a black metallic Jumpman logo rests.

The iconic AJ 13 cat eye on the lateral collar is untouched, with the lenticular graphic of the Jumpman logo and MJ’s number “23” done in a green finish. Though it seems like the sneaker is lacking in color, the insole brightens up the design with a multicolor graphic featuring sketches of Rubik's cubes, pencils, hopscotch squares, and encouraging words. The packaging features a similar graphic that explains the details and meaning behind each design choice.

Finishing the shoe are the blacked-out midsole and the black and multi-color outsole, with purple and green hits on the heel and toe on the left shoe, and blue and orange on the right. There’s also another nod to the Wings program via the circular design near the midfoot.

Air Jordan 13 Retro Wings Release Info

The Air Jordan 13 Retro Wings will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and possibly select retailers online and in-store. It’s rumored that the AJ 13 Wings is limited to just 12,000 pairs worldwide, so it’s likely Nike will be the only place to cop the sneaker. Retail is set at $215.
