For this season’s Jordan Brand PE, UCLA and various Jordan-affiliated schools are getting their own Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG colorways.
Jordan Brand crafts plenty of PE colorways for its signed athletes, endorsees, and influencers, however, we see every year the roster of collegiate athletic programs signed with JB receive PE colorways of retro Air Jordan models for specific sports teams and their faculty. For the Spring 2023 season, the football teams at schools like UNC have been gifted pairs of the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG in each respective school’s colors and now UCLA has just showcased their version of the model.
Much like UNC’s AJ 1 Low, UCLA’s school colors of blue, yellow, and white take over the model with blue cracked leather details appearing throughout the overlays. Pebbled leather that mimics what you’d find on a football covers the yellow Swoosh while we see another hit of yellow in the form of the Nike Air-embroidered tongue tag. Back on the heel sits the iconic Air Jordan wings logo debossed into the cracked leather while UCLA’s logo is present on the insole of the model. Tonal white laces that match the tongue and underlays help complete the upper while a white AJ 1 midsole and gum rubber outsole finishes the entire design.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG UCLA PE will remain exclusive to the UCLA Bruins football team and its staff members.
