But Chef Curry’s court-stretching career has made him a love-him-or-hate-him figure amongst fans of a certain age. For kids, though, Curry may as well walk on water, and the latest colorway of the Under Armour Curry Series 7 is definitely ready for the playground.
Taking the UA hoops super shoe and covering it in as many colors as possible the Under Armour Curry Series 7 Cotton Candy is a rainbow mix of orange, green, pink, blue, purple, and silver. The upper features steel blue mesh and a mint green zig-zag pattern covering the side panels, with a metallic silver strip covering the toe and lace protection panels. The tongue and sockliner are deep purple with bright orange on the Curry Brand tongue logo. The sole is the real star of the shoe, adding an orange bumper on the toe and forefoot that evolves to a pink and blue gradient in the mid-foot and heel, with a speckled section at the very back. It’s a lot.
Under Armour Curry Series 7 Cotton Candy
The Curry Series 7 debuted last month as Under Armour’s first basketball shoe to feature a 3D-molded forefoot shank for running-style stability. So far, we’ve only seen the kind of bright colorways that typically appeal to younger hoopers, but with Steph declaring the model “one of the highest-performing shoes ever made for the game,” a few extra buckets at the pick-up run might be worth looking like you slipped a pack of tropical Skittles onto your feet.
The Under Armour Curry Series 7 Cotton Candy will debut September 26, 2025, through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
