LaMelo Ball doesn’t do subtle. Ball’s Hornets are struggling, starting the season with a 4-10 record, but the teenage-celebrity-turned-legit-NBA-guard is putting up stats across the board, averaging 22 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds despite the team’s woes. Ball’s on-court diversity has been the lone bright spot in Charlotte, but for Melo, the brightest part of his game has always been on his feet.
Continuing the kid-friendly, bright colorways that have bolstered LaMelo’s signature Puma line, the latest colorway, the Puma MB.05 Shine, takes the Terminator 2 approach, dipping the shoe into a vat of molten metal for a shiny silver finish covering the entire shoe. The silver mix features a reptile print graphic covering the toebox and mesh side panel, with ‘Melo’s traditional graphic flair done up in hits of neon green on the left shoe and burst pink on the right shoe.
Like every Puma MB.05, the Shine colorway features massive TPU wings crossing the lace panel, “1 of One” and “Not From Here” graphic accents throughout. The toebox, side panel, and ankle all feature frayed fabric for even more high-fashion accents.
The Puma MB.05 Shine will be released December 12, 2025 through Puma and select retailers in-store and online. Available in adult and grade school sizes, the retail prices are set at $130 for men’s pairs and $90 for GS sizes.
