Lime Green and Purple Gradient Make This Pegasus Premium Stand Out from the Crowd

If you want to go fast, you’ve got to look fast. Running shoes have brought some of the best and brightest colorways to the sneaker industry, designed to look like a blur passing by on foot. Over the years, we’ve seen unconventional palettes come to life on running shoes that would be hard to pull off on the basketball court or a classic lifestyle silhouette. Nike is keeping that oddball track tradition alive with the latest Pegasus Premium, combining off-white, lime green, and a purple to orange gradient on one shoe.

The Nike Pegasus Premium Alabaster Volt takes a two-tone split approach to the upper, adding a creamy off-white alabaster color to the knit mesh on the toebox and top half of the side panels, then switching it up completely with a bright volt green ripstop on the toe and bottom half of the side panels. The same split repeats underfoot, with more alabaster on the top third of the midsole, a volt tint to the full-length Air Zoom unit underneath. The bottom third of the midsole is where the colorway really goes left, adding a random hit of purple in the midfoot that gradually progresses to orange in the heel.
