Jordan Release Calendar

In the early 2000s, basketball shoes ruled the sneaker landscape. From the court to the club, shorts to slacks, everyone was ready to run an impromptu half-court 3-on-3 at the drop of a hat. Things have changed in the modern era, and most ball shoes stay in the bag until it's time for tip-off, coming right back off as soon as the buzzer goes off. With the Y2K retro push in full swing, though, a bygone era of hoop shoes is coming back to reclaim the lifestyle crown.
The Nike Zoom Hyperflight Black joins a purple Jason Williams PE colorway and a bright red pair for the return of the sleek, one-piece silhouette. Featuring an upper covered in shiny black patent leather from toe to heel, this pair won’t stand up as a modern performance ball shoe, but paired with some shorts and a white T? Well, don’t say the uncs never gave you anything.

A bit of contrasting color is added to the black pair with a white mini Swoosh on the lateral toe and perforations across the medial side panel. The tongue and ankle collar feature plush black leather to complete the blacked-out colorway.
The Nike Zoom Hyperflight Black will be released March 27, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170. For all the latest Nike retro basketball news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
