Ja Morant has found a new home with the Trail Blazers. With his newfound home in the Pacific Northwest, Morant is right at the doorstep of Nike. The ultra-popular point guard is bringing not just his latest signature shoe, the Nike Ja 4, to Rip City, but he’s also bringing along a new takedown model called the Nike Twelve Time. The wallet-friendly silhouette pays homage to his signature line while aiming to provide the above-the-rim comfort as the main line. After official images of the purple Nightmare pair arrived, a new colorway perfect for his new squad arrived with the Nike Twelve Time Solar.
The model features a bold shade of Solar Red across the one-piece upper that wraps around to the heel counter. Raised slash marks on the lateral side panel harken back to his previous team, the Memphis Grizzlies, and Morant’s staple Scratch colorways that would prominently feature the claw marks across the upper. Black accents the glossy Swoosh on the lateral side as well as the embroidered Swoosh on the medial side.

The dark shade also graces the heel counter, which is covered by a multitude of Ja and 12 logos printed on the black that spread onto the heel of the midsole in a raised manner. A jagged white midsole tipped with black on the toe accents the bright pop of the red sneaker. Completing the look is an enlarged Nike Swoosh that descends from the eyelets on the medial right foot and crosses onto the lateral toe, forming a J. The left shoe includes an angled lace guide at the toe to form an A, creating another spelling of the two-time All-Star’s name across his sneaker, much like the Ja 3 and Ja 4.
The Nike Ja Twelve Time Solar will be released on September 4, 2026, via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at just $90 for adult colorways, $85 for grade school sizes, and $75 for pre-school pairs.
