Giannis is stepping into Miami at just the right time with a brand new silhouette in the Nike Giannis Freak 8. The sneaker has already been seen in a handful of colorways, including wolf grey, white, black, and an extremely team-friendly pink colorway that debuted the silhouette before the blockbuster trade. Now, official images of that first pink colorway, dubbed the Nike Giannis Freak 8 South Beach, are eurostepping into the lane.

The Nike Giannis Freak 8 is taking its talents to South Beach with a pink South Beach colorway that feels like it truly makes the trade official. The Nike Freak 8 South Beach was among the initial reveals of the silhouette, which happened before the trade to the Miami Heat occurred. The textured, synthetic upper gets dressed in a shade of hot pink that has become synonymous with South Beach.

That pink spills onto the stacked ReactX midsole and gradually lightens up as it spreads outward from the sidewall and onto the sculpted midsole that creates a winged shape. Those swooping wings take on a lighter shade of pink before giving way to a translucent outsole. Black accents on the laces, breathable mesh tongue, and sockliner help to ground the neon energy. Adding in even more to the heavily textured shoe are lenticular details on the Swooshes, as well as the shining golden tongue. Neon green Giannis branding on the tongue, heel, and outsole completes the new silhouette.
