If you want to get the world hyped about a boot, you have to drop a wheat colorway. We don’t make the rules; we’re just telling you how it is. With Nike’s triple-black Air Max Goadome boot carrying the silhouette’s legacy, the model has found new life with animal prints, rapper collabs, and an upcoming purple leather pair for the DMV. With a new version of the low-top Nike boot set to hit the streets soon, starting with the iconic black-on-black, it appears that the tried-and-true wheat rule is the next Goadome Low in line.
Previewed in an Instagram story from Nike designer Frank Cooke, the Nike Air Max Goadome Low Taupe is reminiscent of street fashion’s favorite boot, but with a slightly darker taupe hue. The soft taupe nubuck covers the entire upper, with perforations on the top of the side panels and the ankle collar for breathability, and a small mini Swoosh at the lateral heel.
The sockliner and sole of the shoe are black, with translucent Air Max bubbles and silver hiking boot-style lace loops to round out the colorway. So far, we’ve only seen the one quick side-angle view of the shoe, but according to the color code, there’s a hint of red hiding somewhere, presumably on the tongue tag or insole.
The Nike Air Max Goadome Low Taupe will be released Spring 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $175. For all the latest Nike news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
