We live in a fashion world that’s more blended than ever before. Luxury fashion houses are producing the same type of athletic gear as sportswear brands, while sneaker companies dip into loafers and mules, and fashion fans pair flowing basketball shorts with hard-bottom steppers.
At the intersection of sneakers and formal footwear, boots have always walked the fence between rugged and stylish, functional and fashionable. For Bronx-based fashion label Taller de Rafa, the brand’s first Nike collab is a perfect middle ground, adding a brown leather patina to the low-top version of Nike’s Air Max Goadome boot.

The Taller de Rafa x Nike Air Max Goadome Low is the first Nike partnership from the brother and sister-owned atelier label, featuring a brown leather upper with a worn look that shines with a light penny loafer on the bottom section and a darker brown leather as it moves towards the ankle. Black rugged fabric adds contrast on the lace panel, tongue, and ankle collar, with a TDR logo in large dot letters on the lateral side, and pops of blue on the outsole for some color.
The Taller de Rafa x Nike Air Max Goadome Low will be released Fall 2026 through TDR, Nike, and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $185. For all the latest Nike collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
