Technically, you can’t wear Nike’s Vomero Premium in Chicago Marathon competition thanks to its ultra-stacked midsole cushion, but that won’t stop you from wearing the comfortable silhouette for practice, warm-down, and post-race Malort shots.
To celebrate the upcoming Windy City Marathon, Nike is dropping a teal, neon green, and black colorway of the Vomero Premium with marathon co-branding and graphic detail on the purple midsoles. Beyond Chicago, Nike’s marathon season collection has already seen a three-pack from Berlin, with more pairs no doubt on the way.

For Chi Town, Nike starts the Vomero Premium with a teal gradient that starts with an ocean dark blue on the bottom of the stacked midsole, and evolves to a bright teal on the mesh upper, getting as light as possible at the ankle collar. Neon green fills in the AIR branding on the side panels, with CHI added in large letters on the lateral side. More Chicago Marathon branding is added to the heel in green, with more glowing green on the midsole and the tongue tag.
The Nike Vomero Premium Chicago Marathon will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $240. For all the latest Nike Running news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
