Marathons are usually held during warm weather months, ideally in the sunshine, with hordes of runners trying to stand out from the crowd in bright shirts and shoes. In Berlin, Germany, though, a new collection of Nike running shoes made for the local marathon channels the architecture and fashion sense of the city, keeping things black and dreary.
The Nike Pegasus Premium Berlin Marathon is the latest from a multi-shoe pack bringing together the best from Beaverton’s running collection in sleek, dark colorways that might also get you into Berghain after the race is done. In addition to the Pegasus Premium, we’ve also seen a matching Vomero Plus and Zoom Fly 6 from the pack.

On the Pegasus Premium, Nike starts with an Iron Grey shade that looks nearly black, covering the lower ripstop fabric and the knit mesh above it. The stabilizing stripe that runs between the two fabrics is also black, with hits of grey on the tongue and sockliner, and a weathered black midsole that adds scuffs to the full-length Air unit.
The Nike Pegasus Premium Berlin Marathon will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $220. For all the latest Nike Running news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
