If you’re a sneakerhead and you’re still not convinced to check out soccer, we’re not really sure what else the brands can do to convince you. If adidas’s run of classic silhouettes made in collaboration with national soccer squads didn’t get you interested, and Nike’s new seven-country, seven-collaborator Cryoshot collection didn’t get ya, and even BAPE’s collabs left you underwhelmed, well, maybe sports just isn’t for you.
Nike is keeping the World Cup hype running as the tournament gets set to kick off this month, adding yet another Air Force 1 colorway to Team USA’s expansive gear collection. The new black colorway joins a clean white pair with a Team USA badge on the heel from earlier in the spring, along with two star-covered Air Force 1 Low colorways in more black and white.
On the Nike Air Force 1 Low Team USA pair, Nike adds a deep blue, nearly black shade of premium leather to most of the upper paneling, but leaves the side panel walls clear. Instead of leather, the side panels get a thick black armored mesh covered in tonal stripes just like the flag. A white leather Swoosh and red tongue tag script bring the red, white, and blue theme together.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Team USA will be released June 4, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $125. For all the latest Nike World Cup sneaker news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
