Nike is getting ahead of the NBA All-Star festivities regarding footwear releases. Typically, the brand will drop sneakers themed around the week of the star-studded event in February. The silhouette showcases a split design, combining black hues on the toe, mudguard, eyestays, and midfoot with liquid metal-like metallic silver accents on the Swoosh and heel portions. However, when hit with a flash, the mudguard and eyestays give off a reflective pattern representing the foggy weather associated with San Francisco, the host of this year’s NBA All-Star festivities. Nods to the event are found on the lace dubrae, with a custom metal star logo added to the waxed black lace set.
