Throughout his career, Kevin Durant has amassed 17 different signature sneakers with Nike, with whom he signed a lifetime deal in 2023. Given his perennial all-star status, many of KD’s sneakers have undergone All-Star Weekend makeovers. While we know that this year, the iconic Nike KD 4 Scoring Title will return right around the time of the NBA All-Star Game, the pair made in honor of the event will launch much sooner than expected.
Recently debuted by Kevin Durant on the court, the pair comes with a graphic print depicting Kevin Durant on a 35-dollar bill alongside Nike branding and a multi-color gradient. Blue hues begin around the mesh on the toe and transition into an amalgamation of green, orange, and aqua-green/blue colors as you move back toward the heel. Contrasting this multi-color look are solid hits of color on the lace set, coming in pink, and on the branding details along the tongue and collar, both in black.
Durant’s Easy Money Sniper moniker is also referenced on the upper, as his “EEEASY” logo is embedded into the graphic pattern and is found via a button on the lateral heel. Helping to reinforce the upper are TPU cages on the midfoot, which themselves are a call-back to the Nike Air Max Plus. Down below, the model has an orange midsole containing Zoom Air cushioning paired with a green rubber outsole.
The Nike KD 17 All-Star will release on January 16, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
