Nike is bringing back the early aughts in as many ways as possible. From Y2K-era Air Jordan retros making their own retro returns to Nike Basketball bringing out Foams and Hyperflights, our favorite take on the 2000s has been a wholesale embrace of shiny patent leather and the unexpected return of the Air Force 1 ‘01 shape.
The Nike Air Force 1 ‘01 Low Cracked Leather Black is the perfect representation of the 25-year vintage revival, looking like a pair that was pulled straight out of a storage unit. Arriving in tandem with a matching cracked patent pair in a teal and white colorway, the black and white pair is a much easier match for fall fashion.

Featuring black on the toe, lace, and heel panels, as well as the Swoosh, the two-tone pair switches to white on the toebox, side panel, and tongue. Every panel features a weave of cracked lines like a skyscraper after an earthquake. The midsole adds more white, while the outsole switches back to black to complete the look.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low '01 Cracked Leather Black will be released Fall 2026 through Nike SNKRS and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $140. For all the latest Nike AF1 ‘01 news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
