Since launching the Nike LeBron 22 in November, Nike has given the model a variety of makeovers and thematic releases, most notably multiple colorways in collaboration with Monopoly. Outside of this, The King’s sneaker has recently been spotted in a new Mogul colorway that brings a regal black, white, and gold color scheme to the model in a split design. Now, adding to 2025’s release calendar is a pair that pays homage to LeBron’s I PROMISE school.
Previously, the I PROMISE theme was found on the LeBron NXXT Gen, NXXT Gen Ampd, Witness 8, and various mainline Nike LeBron sneakers, with this Nike LeBron 22 marking the first time since the LeBron 19 that his school was honored on the numerical LeBron series. Across the upper, a gradient pink effect is applied to the leather portions, starting in a hot pink near the toe and transitioning into a softer hue toward the collar. The shade of pink gets even lighter as you move to the perforated suede tongue and lace set, which also contains contrasting hits of volt green and blue along the lining of the tongue and the branding window.
On the bottom half of the upper, the Swoosh cutout is lined with a pink nylon rope that extends back to the heel and creates LeBron’s signature, with the logo constructed out of a textured suede. While the medial side hosts a metallic blue Swoosh near the sole, the medial side contains a graduation cap embedded with LeBron and Nike logos. Another nod to the school comes along the insole, with LeBron’s lion logo sporting this cap. The Zoom Turbo, Zoom Air, and Cushlon 2.0 laden midsole and outsole are finishing the design.
The Nike LeBron 22 I Promise will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
