While his signature sneaker line may not be as hot in the streets as it was during the golden age of Nike Basketball, LeBron James’ signature sneakers continue to push forward with designs that could easily be worn off the court. We’ve seen this true with the multiple LeBron 22 designs with Monopoly, including an all-new What The colorway launching early next year. Adding to this list is a split-design pair dubbed Mogul.
Even though the Mogul nickname evokes the Monopoly Man, the pair takes on a more regal color palette of black, white, and gold, splitting the design similar to the NXXT Gen Ampd Equity. Unlike the takedown silhouette from Bron, this pair splits the design right down the middle of both shoes, the left side of each pair coming in a black faux snakeskin finish and the left taking on a white tumbled leather. Golden accents elevate the design along the toe with a mini Swoosh embroidered into the upper, the lining of the Swoosh cut-out on the lateral side, and the LeBron signature back on the heel.
Moving up to the tongue, we see a perforated black suede finish contrasted by the two-tone gold and black lace set and the golden LeBron 22-branded tongue window. Inside, the sneaker features a Nike SPHERE sockliner for added comfort and stability and features a custom golden crown logo on the insole that aligns with the Mogul theme. This same crown is also applied to the medial side of the sole unit. Finishing the sneaker is the split white and black midsole featuring Zoom Turbo, Zoom Air, and Cushlon 2.0 foam paired with a split outsole.
The Nike LeBron 22 Mogul released January 6, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $180. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
