Nike’s iconic Dunk is 40 years old this year, and there’s nothing Nike likes more than celebrating a birthday. Sharing an anniversary with the Jordan 1, Beaverton has been busy dropping heat in both models all 2025. On the Dunk side, The Swoosh has been experimenting with materials, partnering with new collaborators, and retroing some of the first pre-SB skate dunks, the Pro Bs. The Pro B love continues in a new colorway from Nike Sportswear, even without a chunky tongue.

Nike Dunk Low Wolf Grey
The Nike Dunk Low SE Putty is entirely monochrome, covering every inch in wolf grey. The upper mixes two types of suede: a thicker, fuzzier cut on the toe, lace, Swoosh, and heel panels, and a shorter, smooth suede on the toebox and side panels. The sole is entirely grey as well, with grey-on-grey tongue labels and grey rope laces.
When we see an all-grey suede Dunk, the first thing that comes to mind is the Pro B Putty Dunk. The fat-tongue Dunk produced in 1999 was one of the precursors to the Nike SB program, and after Nike’s skate program blew up, it became a unanimous grail, going for thousands on the secondary market. After a quarter century, Nike started retroing the models this year under the SB label, bringing the Dunk SB craze back to the beginning. The Pro B retro releases skipped over the Putty colorway, though, and even with a slim tongue, we’re counting this one as part of the family anyway.
The Nike Dunk Low Putty will be released Holiday 2025 through select Nike retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
