Though many are tired of the Dunk Low, as Nike has pumped out countless colorways in the last four years, the Beaverton-based sportswear is still going strong with new offerings on the model. Alongside unique renditions like the Dunk Low Give Her Flowers, Baroque Brown, and Ceramic, Nike gives us a Heat Wave makeover on the model.
The Nike Dunk Low Heat Wave distinguishes itself with a unique combination of materials and a color palette that captures the essence of Easter and the warmth of the upcoming summer months. The upper features sanddrift-colored hemp overlays that provide a natural, textured look. The look sets the stage for the standout element of the design: a woven textile base layer.
This textile, adorned in a delightful mix of blue and pink patterns, covers the toe box, tongue, midfoot, and collar, injecting a playful and vibrant contrast into the sneaker's aesthetic. Pink accents enhance the design, appearing on the lace set and Nike branding atop the tongue. Blue elements on the tongue tag and heel embroidery complement the pink, tying the color scheme together. The design is completed with a sanddrift midsole atop a pink outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Heat Wave W will release on April 22, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $135.
