As Valentine's Day 2024 approaches, Nike is preparing to captivate hearts with an extensive range of thematic sneakers. Among these is the celebrated Dunk Low, which has been seen in various versions tailored for the occasion, including a delightful children's exclusive and two distinct women's models - one in suede and another in leather.
But Nike's celebration of love and affection extends beyond Valentine's Day by introducing the Give Her Flowers Collection, a heartfelt homage to timeless gestures of romance. This collection features a special women's Dunk Low, drawing parallels in material choice with the Wavy Gravy colorway and echoing the color palette and design influence of Chris Paul's AJ1 Low Give Them Flowers.
This Nike Dunk Low is a symphony of floral elegance, showcasing exquisite floral details on the overlays, including the mudguard, eyestays, and heel. The base of the sneaker accents these muted embellishments with smooth sail leather across the toe, midfoot, Swoosh, collar, and heel tab. The theme is further accentuated by two poignant additions: a delicate rose pin adorning the lateral heel and the touching phrase "You Deserve Flowers" printed on the insole, resonating with the sentiment of appreciation and admiration. Adding a dash of color to this otherwise understated design is the tongue tag, which pops with university red Nike branding. The sneaker is completed with a cohesive rubber midsole and outsole in a matching sail hue.
