The signature sneaker landscape is expanding with the addition of Caitlin Clark’s new shoe with Nike, the Caitlin 1, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most hyped Nike Basketball products. Clark has been rolling out her sneaker for months now, previewing multiple colorways ahead of the October 1 launch of the Caitlin Blue and Warning Code pairs, but she’s not stopping even after Nike officially unveiled the initial lineup. The WNBA superstar just took to her Instagram Story to give us an in-hand look at the triple-black colorway of the Caitlin 1.
This actually isn’t the first time we’ve seen the (almost) all-black Nike Caitlin 1: when Clark revealed the sneaker in April, she included a photo of Travis Scott wearing the stealthy pair in her Instagram carousel. Identical to the pair worn by La Flame, the 3x Black rendition of the Caitlin 1 has its Opticast upper coated in a dark black hue, coating the repeating “22” and “CC” dimples across the upper. Some relief from the blacked-out look comes via the multi-Swoosh logo, with two of them shining in chrome.
More accenting hits are found on the tongue thanks to Clark’s “CC” signature logo and her number “22.” But from there, the rest of the shoe is cast in black. This includes the sockliner, heel tab, and the sole unit. Inside, the tooling features a forefoot Air Zoom Turbo unit and full-length Cushlon foam.
The Nike Caitlin 1 3x Black will be released Spring 2027 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
