Caitlin Clark Unveils Her First Signature Sneaker, the Nike Caitlin 1

This week has been all about Caitlin Clark. The WNBA superstar has been teasing the unveiling of her first signature sneaker with Nike, the Caitlin 1, by changing her Instagram handle to “caitlin1” and changing her profile picture on three separate occasions to reveal different details on the shoe. Finally, all this teasing has led to a full unveiling of the shoe courtesy of Caitlin’s latest Instagram dump.
Nike Caitlin 1 Details
Caitlin Clark’s signature sneaker comes in low-top form and, to no surprise, has somewhat of a similar shape to her preferred Nike Kobes (5 and 6). The three shots of the shoe present in the photo dump, one of which includes Travis Scott trying on a black and chrome colorway and another showing what appears to be a Grinch-themed colorway, don’t give us super up close detail, but we can make out a few things based on these pictures and the previews.
The lateral side of the upper features a double Swoosh effect that subtly forms a “CC” logo, while the raised TPU nubs are done in mini C’s. This is something we saw Ja Morant employ on the Nike Ja 3, with “JA” used across the armored upper.
A wavy look is achieved through the depth of the TPU C’s, which could be another subtle nod to her “CC” initials. On the medial side, we see the Swoosh is done in traditional format, and the TPU nubs are now shaped like “2” to represent her jersey number. Down below, the midsole features Zoom Air cushioning, something we know thanks to her friendship bracelet reveal the night prior, and the medial side features her “CC” logo embedded in the midfoot.
When Does the Nike Caitlin 1 Release?
According to Caitlin herself, the Nike Caitlin 1 will be released on October 1, 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. We expect the Caitlin 1 in Racer Blue to be the debut colorway. The shoe retails for $140 in adult sizes, $115 in GS, and $105 in PS.
