Nike’s celebration of the Air Max 95’s 30th birthday has been a success. Thus far, we’ve been treated to a slew of OG colorways, fan favorites, and collaborations, like the Neon, Black Border, Bright Mandarin (1.0 and 2.0), and a project with Levi’s. Next up for the sneaker is a clean Obsidian makeover.
Though not exactly in the same style as the OG Air Max 95 gradient, the pair still features a shifting color scheme on its human anatomy-inspired midfoot panel. Here, we see suede in a light blue transition into darker shades of navy as you move down toward the sole unit. Above this sits an obsidian mesh, partially covering the nylon lace loops and jersey mesh tongue.

Air Max branding atop the tongue is done in tonal diffused blue and obsidian shades, while Nike Swoosh logos on the collar also opt for this two-tone look. Finishing the upper is the 3M-laden heel tab with Nike Air text, tonal obsidian laces, and an obsidian suede toecap. Down below sits a black foam midsole with Air units in the forefoot and heel, the latter done in the “big bubble” build that returned thanks to the model’s 30th birthday, and a tonal black outsole.
The Nike Air Max 95 OG Obsidian will release Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
